Raleigh Retro Gamers was founded in 2018 to network with other collectors, gamers, and nostalgia seekers in our area. Since its inception, Raleigh Retro Gamers has become a bustling community with thousands of members spanning across NC, with a vast majority living in the Triangle. Our mission to amplify the gaming culture for retro and modern gamers, as well as advocate for the collecting community, and the gaming contributors we have in North Carolina, led RRG to begin organizing gaming-related events. We now produce Pop-Up Markets, Expos, Esports, and Gaming Tournaments across NC and welcome gaming and geek fans of all ages at our events and in our community.ย
Jeff Thomas is a Raleigh native and avid retro gaming collector. After creating a successful retro gaming brand in 2014, Jeff became a founding member of the Raleigh Retro Gamers Community Group in 2018. He quickly began establishing the RRG brand, and started organizing events for the community.ย Jeff has dedicated himself to creating unforgettable experiences that foster community spirit in his hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina. With a deep-rooted passion for his city, Jeff’s mission revolves around organizing engaging events that bring people together in the name of fun.
