We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as the Kids Zone Coordinator for our events. This role involves the setup and management of the Kids Zone, including arranging decor, coordinating engaging activities, capturing memorable moments through photography, and fostering positive interactions with both parents and children.
The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, a passion for creating a fun and safe environment, and excellent communication abilities. Must be at least 18 years old
Must be professional, courteous, friendly, and good with children
Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people
Ability to participate in a range of activities in a variety of outdoor/indoor settings
Set up and manage the Kid Zone area. This can be helping set up the tables and decorate
Interact with event attendees, in particular, kids and their parents
Some light photography (we can provide a cell phone or camera for quick pictures) We like to capture kids having fun at the kid zone
Maintain regular, clear, and concise communications with attendees and RRG team members
Hours: This is a Seasonal position. Most of our events are between 4-6 hours long. We typically do 6-10 events a year. Most events are between March-Oct.
To give you an idea of the types of things we’ve done in the past.
We usually set up 2 tables and/or tent, with kids crafts, temp tattoos, free prizes, outdoor games like cornhole, chalk art, balloons etc However, we welcome your input for future activities. We provide all the setup and materials.
The main goal for this person is to just have fun and interact with attendees. Our events bring out thousands of people, and we love having a dedicated space for the kids to visit and have fun.
