Weather Policy

The safety and well-being of our attendees, staff, and vendors are our top priority. In the event of severe weather, we are committed to ensuring everyone is kept informed and safe. Below are the procedures we will follow:

1. Monitoring Weather Conditions:
   We will continuously monitor weather forecasts leading up to and during the event. If severe weather is predicted or occurs (e.g., thunderstorms, high winds, or flooding), we will notify all attendees promptly with safety instructions and updates.

2. Severe Weather Shelter:
   Should severe weather arise during the event:

   • Attendees, vendors, and staff will be directed to shelter either inside one of the designated buildings on-site or inside their vehicles.
   • Event personnel will guide you to safe locations and provide updates on the weather situation.
     
     

3. Event Resumption or Cancellation:
   Once the severe weather has passed, we will assess the conditions and decide whether it is safe to resume the event. If weather conditions do not improve or become hazardous, the event may be postponed or canceled.

   • Any rescheduling will be communicated as soon as possible, and a rain date has been set aside.
     
     

4. Personal Safety Recommendations:
   We encourage all attendees to bring tents, tarps, or other protection for personal belongings in case of light rain or brief showers. However, during severe weather, please prioritize your safety by following staff instructions and seeking shelter immediately.
