Become a RRG Crew Member

We rely on both volunteers and paid crew members to facilitate the setup and breakdown of our gaming events effectively. Volunteers bring enthusiasm and community spirit, complementing the expertise and reliability of our paid staff. Together, they form a dynamic team ensuring the smooth execution of our events while fostering a sense of camaraderie within the gaming community. 

The paid positions are mainly for setup and breakdown only. The volunteers typically help with gaming stations, and miscellaneous things during the event. 


  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be professional, courteous, and friendly
  • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people
  • Ability to participate in a range of activities including lifting up to 50lbs


  • Help with setup and breakdown of event equipment. These can include tents, chairs, tables, signage, moving things around etc
  • Help with setting up gaming stations
  • Maintain regular, clear, and concise communications with RRG team members

Compensation: For paid crew members $15-20/hr or Flat rate fee depending on the event. Volunteers get a $25 Visa Gift card for a minimum of 2 hours of volunteer work and sometimes other perks depending on the event. 

Hours: This is a Seasonal opportunity. Most of our events are between 4-6 hours long. We typically do 6-10 events a year. Most events are between March-Oct.
We typically do 2-4 hour blocks for volunteers as well as some paid members. An example of a shift could be 8am-12pm, or from 2pm-6pm, or 12-4pm. We generally need the most help 2 hours before the event starts and 2 hours after the event ends. However, we do have things volunteers can help with at all times.
